Playsets, FX packs & claims
The marketplace ships two main kinds of packs, plus collaboration drops. All of them attach to your account through the same claim flow.
Playsets (Video Packs)
A playset is a curated library of seamless video loops around one visual theme — the raw material your FX chain plays on top of. Each pack lists its loop count and cover art in the marketplace, and claimed playsets show up in the app's Playset browser.
Everyone starts with the White Hole starter playset; additional free playsets can be claimed from their marketplace pages.
FX Layer packs
FX packs unlock effect layers rather than video. They come in four tiers — Basic, Advanced, Pro, and Labs — and each tier includes everything below it. The FX layers reference documents every layer with previews and parameters.
Collaboration drops
Some packs ship as part of a collaboration with an artist rather than as standalone marketplace rows — for example the ParVagues audio + visual bundle. These are claimed with a claim code from the collaboration page instead of a marketplace button, and can bundle playsets, audio, and presets together.
How claiming works
- Sign in — claims attach to your account, so an account is required (the anonymous app still works for playing, with starter content).
- On a pack page, hit Add pack (or enter a claim code on a collaboration page).
- The pack is recorded as an entitlement on your account and appears in the app the next time it syncs.
A few things worth knowing:
- Claimed packs are per-account, not per-device — sign in anywhere and your library follows.
- Packs marked coming soon are announced but not claimable yet.
- If a claim fails, the page tells you why — usually you're signed out, or the pack isn't claimable from the marketplace yet.
