Luma Dust
Canvas overlay. Dense square particles spawn from the frame center and spread outward. Most of the grain budget sits on the brightest luma; a reserve stays free so new almost-white highlights cast immediately in that highlight’s color. Grains sit on that spot and leave when its luma changes — they do not chase the light. Free grains fade out before they leave the frame.
